GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONA HR Coordinator to perform diversified administrative activities for the Total Rewards team. Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day, weekly, monthly and annual activities of the organization's total rewards function (payroll, benefits, and HRIS).
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES- Conduct payroll processing on a biweekly basis and as needed for coverage of payroll team.
- Process garnishments within the HRIS system for proper payment.
- Employment and wage verifications.
- Submit tax agency notices to ADP for review, and alert payroll manager for escalations.
- Manage contractors process and maintain accurate records.
- Serve as first point of contact/customer support for direct inquiries for payroll/benefits for walk-ins.
- Monitor, organize and maintain shared inboxes and calendars.
- Process, scan, maintain and respond to incoming mail.
- Seek assistance from subject-matter leads as needed to research, respond, and resolve problems in a timely, courteous, and complete manner.
- Support total rewards events, including coordinating room and food reservations, communicating with participants/attendees, preparing and distributing materials, and serving as backup to provide light technical support for virtual meetings and events.
- Assist with organizing, updating, and maintaining HR-related documentation.
- Perform routine benefits transactions.
- Inventory, monitor and maintain informational/educational/reference materials for HR office.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
Education:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
Experience:
- Background and/or interest in HR/Total Rewards.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience required.
- Excellent organization and priority-setting skills with the ability to manage several tasks of varying complexity simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to exercise discretion when communicating with employees, management, and government/military customers.
- High level of customer service skills required with a focus on relationship management and customer satisfaction. Must be proactive with the ability to partner and work effectively in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude, including familiarity with HRIS, benefits and compensation databases. Experience with ADP preferred.
- General awareness of U.S. Federal, State and local benefits and compensation laws & regulations.

- This position may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed.
- Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
