Job Description
The Human Resources Manager will plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to Human Resources functions, including, but not limited to, onboarding, recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, payroll, and community relations. The position will work proactively with plant management to develop Human Resources strategies that align the workforce with company performance goals and needs.This position may supervise HR staff at the plant.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Partners with the plant leadership team to understand and execute the plant's HR and talent plans, particularly those related to current and future talent needs, recruiting, and retention.
Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting.
Maintains employee records, including, but not limited to, personnel files and application logs, as required by law, local governing bodies, or departments in the organization.
Coordinates all plant training to enhance employee skills and career growth, including Onboarding Training.
Participates in the talent acquisition process, which may include attending career fairs, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants.
Serves as a consultant to managers on relevant federal and state employment laws; legal, ethical, and work-related issues; HR process, programs, and policies; and employee disciplinary issues.
Prepares reports as needed for payroll, sustainability, and attendance.
Ensure the HRIS system is maintained and updated with employee information.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Five (5) years of related experience required, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
Knowledge of HRIS systems such as Ceridian Dayforce, ADP, and Workday.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
