We are actively hiring for the position of Entry level HR Assistant for our plant in Salt Lake City, UT

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) Flexible

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting: creating/updating job descriptions, creating requisitions, job posting, screening prospects, offer negotiations, onboarding, and off-boarding.
  • Responsible for weekly recruiting reports for the location
  • Entering background screens for prospects
  • Managing onboarding process, conducting new hire orientations
  • Verify I9 documentation and submitting information to E-Verify
  • Maintaining personnel records/files
  • Maintaining HRIS system
  • Preparing new hire packets
  • Assisting with training and development (i.e., compliance training, safety training, etc.)
  • Assisting managers/employees with time adjustments
  • Helping to coordinate company events, monthly and annual events
  • Assisting with Employee Relations situations
  • Helping managers/employees with questions
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience with ADP/Paycom systems
  • 1-2 years’ experience with high volume recruiting
  • PHR or SHRM certification a plus, not required
  • BA/BS Degree in Human Resources, related field, or equivalent work experience, preferably in HR
  • Strong computer skills, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, MS office, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
