We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our client's team in Portland, Oregon. This role is crucial to our operations, as you will be managing key accounting functions, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring accurate customer records. This opportunity is a short term contract employment.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with standard procedures and policies.

• Utilize accounting software systems to track, manage, and analyze financial data.

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and promptly.

• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Ensure effective communication with customers and resolve any inquiries or issues they may have.

• Perform month-end close activities, including the preparation of financial reports and analysis.

• Learn new systems quickly and effectively to optimize work efficiency.

• Maintain a high level of detail orientation in all tasks, from high-level understanding to basic day-to-day work.

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Expertise in managing the General Ledger
• Ability to efficiently perform Month End Close operations
