We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounting Manager in South San Francisco, California. As an Accounting Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks in the accounting and finance sector. Your main responsibilities will include managing general ledger operations, overseeing the accounts payable process, managing payroll processing, and leading the implementation of NetSuite to enhance financial operations.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the smooth operation of general ledger processes
• Lead the creation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee the accounts payable process to guarantee punctual and accurate payments
• Manage the payroll process and ascertain compliance with regulatory stipulations
• Spearhead the implementation of NetSuite to improve financial operations
• Guarantee the seamless incorporation of financial systems with existing processes
• Maintain compliance with public company reporting standards and deadlines
• Ensure the accuracy of customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance.

• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software.

• Proven experience in system implementation.

• Adept at performing Month End Close procedures.

• Solid experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP).

• Demonstrated ability to handle payroll processes.

• Extensive knowledge of General Ledger operations.

• Experience working in the Life Sciences required.
