Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager -- Grants and Compliance to join dynamic team in Louisville metropolitan area! The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of non-profit organizations, grant administration/compliance, and enjoy opportunities to improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing the financial reporting of grants and federal awards
- Ensuring non-profit organization's adherence to the financial aspects of grant compliance
- Coordinating with budget team to reconcile and report on grant spending
- Preparing grant budgets and financial reports
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls for grant compliance
- Ensuring that accounting procedures and reporting are followed according to legal and company accounting specifications
- Contributing to team efforts by providing necessary reports and accounting analyses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of non-profit accounting experience (required)
- Proven experience in grant accounting (required)
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills
