Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager -- Grants and Compliance to join dynamic team in Louisville metropolitan area! The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of non-profit organizations, grant administration/compliance, and enjoy opportunities to improve processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing the financial reporting of grants and federal awards
  • Ensuring non-profit organization's adherence to the financial aspects of grant compliance
  • Coordinating with budget team to reconcile and report on grant spending
  • Preparing grant budgets and financial reports
  • Implementing and maintaining internal controls for grant compliance
  • Ensuring that accounting procedures and reporting are followed according to legal and company accounting specifications
  • Contributing to team efforts by providing necessary reports and accounting analyses



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of non-profit accounting experience (required)
  • Proven experience in grant accounting (required)
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills
