Accounting Manager Job at Soni Resources in Brentwood

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily financial operations, including AP, AR, payroll, taxes, and financial reporting, while managing and mentoring accounting staff. This hands-on role supports the CFO with strategic initiatives, ensures timely month-end closings, and maintains compliance with US GAAP. Key duties include enhancing internal controls, overseeing cash management and reconciliations, and driving process improvements to support growth.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  
  
• CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation.
  
  
• Minimum of 2 years of audit experience with a public accounting firm (audit experience preferred over tax).
  
  
• At least 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
  
  
• Proficiency in financial software such as Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains); experience with NetSuite or similar platforms is a plus.
  
  
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and experience with consolidated financial statements.
  
  
• Strong experience in budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis.

Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
