Requirements / Qualifications

1. A completed EDJOIN classified application showing two (2) years of school district, office, or secretarial work at an increasingly responsible level.
2. Copy of High School Diploma, GED Certificate, or equivalent; or copy of transcripts showing high school graduation date.
3. Certificate of Keyboarding/Typing of 50 net WPM.
* ONLINE KEYBOARDING/TYPING TESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALID TYPING CERTIFICATE, YOU WILL TAKE A TYPING EXAM ON THE DAY OF TESTING FOR THIS POSITION.

Copy of High School Diploma or GED Certificate or copy of transcripts showing high school graduation date.

Certificate of Keyboarding/Typing of 50 Net WPM or more must include the following:
» Name of organization administering the exam
» Your first and last name
» Date exam was taken (within the past 12 months)
» Certificate must be signed by proctor of the exam

  • Proof of HS Graduation (Graduation from High School or equivalent)
  • Typing Certificate (Keyboarding/Typing Certificate of 50 NET WPM or more)

Prior to employment, all applicants are subject to a fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and a fee for processing. Authorization of employment will not be granted until the fingerprint clearance from DOJ has been accepted.
