A leading San Diego law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary with at least 5 years of civil litigation experience to join their team assisting their Civil Litigation and General and Professional Liability practice areas. This role offers the opportunity to support a dynamic team of attorneys in delivering high-quality legal services across California.

Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: The Litigation Legal Secretary will be responsible for editing and finalizing legal documents, including motions, discovery, and pleadings.
  • Calendaring: Able to manage key dates and deadlines for state and federal courts using manual calendaring in Outlook.
  • Court Filings: Handle e-filing for both state and federal courts.
  • Administrative Support: The Litigation Legal Secretary will manage attorneys' schedules, coordinate travel, prepare expense reports, and answer phones.
  • Case Management: The Litigation Legal Secretary will support multiple cases and attorneys, working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience in California.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing requirements, including e-filing.
  • Proficient in manual calendaring, MS Office, and preparing TOAs and TOCs.
  • Familiarity with iManage, Coyote Analytics, Westlaw, and PACER is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $75K - $90K DOE
  • Comprehensive benefits package available.
