Our Dallas office is looking to add a Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator to provide strategic support to the Non-Lateral (Campus) recruiting efforts of the Dallas office. This individual will join a dynamic local team which partners closely with our other Texas offices, Austin and Houston, as well as the broader Firmwide Legal Recruiting and Development (LRD) department.
The ideal candidate will be an adept and proactive team player with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Relationships are important so we are looking for someone to build connections among attorneys and staff; this position requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and confidentiality.

- Collaborate with Senior Legal Recruiting Manager and broader Dallas LRD team, broader TX LRD team, FW Recruiting team, and TX hiring partners and the TX Recruiting Committee to support recruiting strategies and programs in order to achieve non-lateral attorney hiring goals, including but not limited to supporting candidate sourcing and pipeline management with respect to meeting expected practice group hiring targets
- Coordinate with Travel, Meetings and Events (TME) department to coordinate candidate event planning.
- Coordinate virtual, in-office and on-campus interviews and candidate outreach/touch points including in-office receptions, super interview days, offer dinners, pre-OCI events, campus sponsorships, and other recruiting initiatives
- Support the Non-Lateral (Campus) hiring process and initiatives, including coordinating and scheduling fall and spring campus outreach, campus engagement, assisting with sourcing of candidates, including coordinating, updating, and organizing the correspondence of offer letters, reviewing offers for consistency and uniformity
- Support Dallas office-owned assigned FW law school teams (UVA, Vanderbilt, SMU, etc.), supporting the FW recruiting team, greater TX office LRD team to brainstorm creative ways to engage assigned school and bolster our talent pipeline
- Support strategic relationships with career services professionals, law student groups and professional networks to increase Kirkland's visibility and advance the Firm's recruiting strategies
- Awareness of Dallas office Non-Lateral recruiting budget, ensuring timely creation and processing of Chrome River expenses and invoices while leveraging the appropriate GL to maintain accuracy
- Train and develop seasonal contractors, ensuring they leverage and utilize relevant toolkits, how-to guides, and resources needed for role success
- Maintain Kirkland databases (vi Recruit) including candidate entry and status updates as needed; partnering with our FW recruiting team as necessary.
- Assist with completion of weekly compliance tasks
- Serve as Dallas office Silkroad 'super user' and ensure events and attorney feedback are maintained in support of campus engagement touchpoints.
- Serve as Dallas office FloRecruit 'super user' and ensure critical tasks in support of summer and new associate onboarding are completed in a timely manner.
- Support and help coordinate Summer Associate Program including assisting with communication to summer associates, orientation programming, planning and coordination of social events, assisting with creation of mentoring pairings, assisting with monitoring of budget, assignment distribution and supporting the execution and scheduling of mid- and end-of-summer reviews
- Develop competency with interpretation of data-driven reports, projections, and statistical information as needed - developing the ability to leverage Tableau to produce data-driven visualizations to support recommendations and trends
- Collaborate with other Kirkland offices and departments to identify efficiencies and best practices
- Collaborate with FW recruiting team as needed and help with ad hoc departmental projects

Qualifications & Requirements
Education, Work Experience, Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services industry
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise regarding lateral and student attorney recruitment activities
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong strategic planning problem-solving skills, and organizational skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to build relationships and work with individuals at all levels with varying personality types
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work "hands-on" as required
- Professional presence that engenders confidence from firm management, attorneys, and candidates
- Strong presentation skills combined with confidence and poise
- Proficiency in the use of software, including Microsoft Office. Experience with ViDesktop preferred.
