Location: Casper, WY
Shift Schedule: Night Shift

  • Monday – Thursday: 4:45 PM – 3:15 AM
  • Friday & Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Pay Rate: $35.90/hour

Position Overview:
Adecco is assisting a local client in the search for a skilled Night Shift Shop Lead to supervise and support a team of up to 52 welders during night shifts at our Casper, WY location. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality work, guiding the team, troubleshooting issues, and preparing the group for new tasks. The Lead reports to the shift supervisor and takes charge while occasionally performing welding duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct up to 52 welders to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Provide technical assistance and prepare welders for upcoming projects.
  • Collaborate with the shift supervisor to maintain efficient operations and resolve workflow issues.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Perform welding tasks as needed (approximately 10% of the time).

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of solid structural welding experience with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Welding Skills: Proficient in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
  • Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience is preferred; strong leadership qualities are essential.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to read welding plans and perform related calculations (circumference, decimals, fractions).
  • Education: Welding school background preferred but not required; significant experience and skill proficiency are essential.
  • Attributes: Professionalism, integrity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate the team.


Pay Details: $35.90 per hour
