The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors. Compensation:
  • $43,888k- $45k, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team. Schedule shifts, delegate tasks, and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational demands.
  • Inspect rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met. Address any discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping essentials. Place orders as needed and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Provide ongoing training to housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and company standards. Encourage team development and support career growth.
  • Address guest requests and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive experience. Communicate effectively with other departments, such as the front desk and maintenance, to coordinate and resolve guest-related issues.
  • Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health, sanitation, and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure staff follow proper procedures.
  • Maintain records of inspections, supplies, and personnel issues. Prepare reports for management regarding housekeeping performance, inventory needs, and other relevant metrics.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
  • Familiarity with housekeeping processes, cleaning techniques, and safety standards.
  • Prior experience in hospitality or related field.
  • Certification in sanitation or housekeeping management (preferred but not required)
