As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for the general operation of the staff functions relating to the cleanliness and organization of the hotel and common areas. You work effectively in a team environment and utilize excellent communication skills to ensure all day-to-day operations of housekeeping and safety procedures have been met. The Housekeeping Supervisor displays positive leadership techniques.

Responsibilities of the Ideal Candidate:
- Ensures all guest feel welcome and are given responsible, friendly, and courteous service through effective customer service skills.
- Monitors all aspects of the housekeeping department in partnership with Executive Housekeeper, ensure the adherences of safety procedures, the training and evaluation of staff, and the direction of all department processes.
- Continuously participates in on-going facility inspections throughout the hotel to assure the cleanliness, safety, and other standards have been met.
- Assure all public areas of property are clean to high standards to ensure all guest experiences are organized and fresh.
- Follow all security guidelines when entering and exiting room, ensuring room has been secured upon departure.
- Maintain an inventory and log of housekeeping supplies and facility maintenance, promptly reporting work orders for needed repairs, low inventories, or linens needed.
- Effectively manage all aspects of the housekeeping department in the Executive Housekeeper's absence.
- Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
- Efficiently prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
- Follow OSHA safety rules and regulations with adherence and understanding to the specific policies and procedures
- Sustain the safety of the property though risk-management behavior, proper inspections, participation in Safety and Security Committee and knowledge of emergency procedures.

Pay Starts at: $19.50 per hour
Experience and Education:
- 2 years of commercial cleaning/hotel industry experience
- Possess the ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Physical Requirements:
The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
- Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
- Ascend and descend a ladder
