We are seeking a

Vice President, Finance

to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.

Job Summary

The Vice President of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and back-office operations of the company, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the organization's financial health and stability. This role involves working closely with executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and other departments to develop and implement financial strategies that support business goals and drive growth. The VP of Finance will oversee revenue, collections, financial reporting, financial policies and procedures, financial audits, treasury, tax, capital structure, and commercial deal strategy/approvals.

Duties and Responsibilities Partner with CFO and other leaders in the development and execution of the company's financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals. Advise the CEO and executive team on financial performance, strategic decisions, and long-term growth planning. Provide thought leadership on financial trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring proactive decision-making. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Partner with finance leadership team, particularly the VP of FP&A, in support and review of investor-facing materials and communications. Oversee compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax requirements. Collaborate closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators to ensure adherence to industry best practices. Manage cash forecasts, cash reporting, and corporate cash management. Monitor key financial metrics, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure performance targets are met. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess business performance, profitability, and operational efficiency. Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization. Lead efforts in managing capital structure, debt financing, and investment strategies. Participate in financial decisions related to mergers, acquisitions, and capital expenditures. Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including credit, market, foreign exchange, and operational risks. Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies are in place. Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Recruit, train, and develop top talent to support the company's growing needs. Promote collaboration between accounting and other departments to ensure alignment. Manage relationships with bankers and financial institutions. Other duties as assigned and required. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 15+ years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in software industry required. Knowledge of software revenue recognition. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, accounting principles, and financial regulations required. Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets required. Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results and business growth. Advanced MS excel skills required. Strong ERP skills, NetSuite experience required.

This position offers a total compensation range of $350,000.00 to $400,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
