Overview:
The Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse functions by efficiently handling materials and products. The role primarily focuses on staging materials for production areas, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining adherence to safety standards and company policies, including cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). The individual will be responsible for operating forklifts and other machinery, conducting inventory checks, sampling raw materials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Core Essential Skill Sets: Forklift Experience: Must be proficient in operating a forklift. Detail-Oriented & Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and ensure accuracy in all tasks. Material Staging & Handling: Efficiently stage materials for production areas, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies. Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trucks and other vehicles efficiently and safely. Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with company policies, cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and Batch Record instructions. Screenings and Tests:
Drug Test: 11-panel drug test, including fentanyl. Basic Background Check. Medical Test: Routine post-offer exam including: Vision Screen (Near, Far, Color, Depth, and Peripheral vision). Vital Signs check. Audiogram & Noise and Hearing Questionnaire. Spirometry & OSHA Respirator Questionnaire. Lifting Assessment (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed in manufacturing, maintenance, warehouse, or security roles). Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Conduct inventory checks and assist with the management of vaults and controlled substance storage areas. Verify inventories and prepare reports for regulatory agencies, including the DEA. Receipt and Sampling:
Receive and sample raw materials, chemicals, and supplies, updating manual and automated records accurately. Access Control:
Grant access to authorized individuals for controlled substance storage areas. Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain 100% compliance with training requirements and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards Safety & Efficiency:
Maintain work areas in a safe and efficient manner and perform job functions in accordance with safety protocols.
