Position Overview The Vice President, Capital Development (VP) is focused on building and nurturing relationships with potential investors, introducing them to Wilkinson’s multifamily real estate investment opportunities, and ensuring an exceptional investor experience. This VP will serve as a key ambassador for Wilkinson’s investment funds, with a strong focus on relationship-building. Core Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective investors, primarily HNW accredited investors. Introduce Wilkinson’s investment funds and opportunities to potential investors, providing thorough and accurate information about our strategies and goals. Participate in industry networking events, conferences, and educational meetups to identify and cultivate new investor relationships. Collaborate with the marketing team to support marketing initiatives, including the development of collateral, electronic communications, and website content tailored to prospective investors. Collaborate with the marketing and investor relations teams to design and host investor education events that highlight Wilkinson’s competencies and history. Maintain detailed records of interactions with prospective investors using CRM tools and ensure follow-ups are timely and professional. Act as a liaison between prospective investors and the internal team, ensuring inquiries are addressed efficiently and with care. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field. Proven experience raising equity for private equity funds. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex investment strategies in a clear and compelling manner. Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and CRM systems. Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a keen interest in continuous learning. Preferred Qualifications Experience raising equity for real estate funds. Experience in multifamily real estate or other real estate investments. Familiarity with hosting investor events and creating educational content for prospective clients. General understanding of financial and business concepts related to real estate investments.
