Are you a results-driven and tenured individual with a passion for the hospitality industry? Look no further! The Bangor Aviator Hotel, a 111-room property, linked to the Bangor International Airport via a skybridge and located near the University of Maine, Bangor is seeking a talented individual to join their team as General Manager.
In this position, you are a true Hospitality Professional and have a deep understanding and proven track record of success and operational excellence. You know how to deliver a superior result for the guest, the employees, your community and of course for the ownership via the bottom line. You are THE key executive at your property, with a team looking to you for guidance and, as their leader, you ensure that guests are wowed by a caring, well-trained and highly motivated staff.

As the Hotel General Manager, you will be the driving force behind our success. Your passion for exceptional guest experiences and your strategic vision will ensure that our hotel thrives. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Management:
Inspire and lead our dedicated team to achieve greatness. Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment. Foster a culture of exceptional service and guest satisfaction. Revenue Management:
Develop and implement winning sales and marketing strategies. Maximize revenue and occupancy rates by staying ahead of market trends. Optimize pricing strategies and distribution channels. Guest Experience:
Create unforgettable moments for our guests. Maintain impeccable cleanliness, safety, and service standards. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally. Financial Management:
Develop and manage the hotel's budget with finesse. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions. Keep costs in check without compromising on service standards. Community Engagement:
Build strong relationships within the local community. Make a positive impact through active participation in community events. Qualifications: High School Diploma required, college degree preferred, however will account for on the job experience equivalent to a 4 year degree. At least 2 years of General Manager experience and/or 4 years Operations Management in a Hotel. Inspiring leadership skills that motivate and unite diverse teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets. In-depth understanding of hotel operations, including revenue management and sales. Ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Valid driver’s license required. Job Type:
