The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the dealership's daily operations and ensuring the business runs efficiently and profitably. This role involves managing staff, developing business strategies, and achieving sales, service, and financial goals. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of the powersports industry, and the ability to drive business growth through excellent customer service and team management. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Oversee all departments, including sales, service, parts, finance, and administration. Provide clear direction, leadership, and support to department managers and staff. Develop and implement business strategies to meet organizational goals and objectives. Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration across all departments.

Sales & Customer Service: Drive sales and revenue growth by setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and implementing sales strategies. Ensure excellent customer service throughout the dealership, addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally. Develop marketing plans and promotions to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Maintain a strong relationship with manufacturers, ensuring compliance with their standards and guidelines.

Financial Management: Prepare and manage the dealership's annual budget, ensuring profitability and cost control. Monitor financial performance, including sales, gross profit, expenses, and net profit. Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address challenges. Negotiate with lenders, insurance companies, and other third-party partners to secure competitive financing and insurance options.

Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all departments. Implement processes and systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of vehicles and parts to meet customer demand. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safety, environmental, and legal standards.

Expectations: Lead the dealership to achieve sales and profitability targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that motivates and engages employees. Ensure that all operations comply with industry standards and regulations. Develop and implement strategies to adapt to market trends and consumer demands. Consistently monitor and assess the performance of all departments, making adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and profitability.

Minimum Requirements: Proven experience as an Automotive, Marine, RV or Power Sports General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the industry. Strong knowledge of dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, and finance. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control. Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations and make informed decisions. Proficiency in dealership management software and other relevant tools. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field is preferred but not necessary.
