We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and lead operations in a mission-driven environment. Position Overview: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee day-to-day operations, drive efficiency, and support strategic growth within our FQHC. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in healthcare management, specifically within a Federally Qualified Health Center. Strong knowledge of NextGen, UDS reporting, and regulatory compliance is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all operational aspects of the FQHC, including clinical, administrative, and support services. Develop and implement strategies to optimize patient care and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including UDS reporting and NextGen utilization. Collaborate with the CEO and other leaders to shape organizational strategy and growth. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to meet organizational goals. Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to operational staff. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation. Ensure alignment with the mission and values of the organization while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, specifically within an FQHC environment. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with NextGen software and UDS reporting. Proven track record of operational leadership, team management, and performance optimization. Strong understanding of FQHC regulations, healthcare laws, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $112,265.00 - $121,445.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed Experience: Operations management: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
