We are a leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing accessible and high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and lead operations in a mission-driven environment.

Position Overview:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee day-to-day operations, drive efficiency, and support strategic growth within our FQHC. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in healthcare management, specifically within a Federally Qualified Health Center. Strong knowledge of NextGen, UDS reporting, and regulatory compliance is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all operational aspects of the FQHC, including clinical, administrative, and support services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including UDS reporting and NextGen utilization.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and other leaders to shape organizational strategy and growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to meet organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to operational staff.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure alignment with the mission and values of the organization while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, specifically within an FQHC environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with NextGen software and UDS reporting.
  • Proven track record of operational leadership, team management, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of FQHC regulations, healthcare laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $112,265.00 - $121,445.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
