We are a leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing accessible and high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. Position Overview:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee day-to-day operations, drive efficiency, and support strategic growth within our FQHC. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in healthcare management, specifically within a Federally Qualified Health Center. Strong knowledge of NextGen, UDS reporting, and regulatory compliance is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all operational aspects of the FQHC, including clinical, administrative, and support services.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including UDS reporting and NextGen utilization.
- Collaborate with the CEO and other leaders to shape organizational strategy and growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to meet organizational goals.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to operational staff.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Ensure alignment with the mission and values of the organization while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, specifically within an FQHC environment.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with NextGen software and UDS reporting.
- Proven track record of operational leadership, team management, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of FQHC regulations, healthcare laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $112,265.00 - $121,445.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
