Supervisory Intelligence Research Specialist
This position includes collecting, analyzing, and evaluating all-source criminal intelligence information as well as coordinating and preparing intelligence products used to inform decisions impacting public safety and national security. Duties

The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Intelligence Research Specialist generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop, review, and revise policies, procedures, and guidelines related to the collection, analysis, and dissemination of criminal intelligence to ensure alignment with the program's mission, strategic objectives, and legal requirements. Apply Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to identify emerging threats, assess capabilities and intentions of criminal organizations. Oversee the provision of intelligence support to investigations designed to disrupt or dismantle criminal organizations or activities. Establish performance metrics, accountability, mechanisms to track progress, measure outcomes, and ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives. Plan, coordinate, and participate in multi-agency case coordination meetings. Salary
$163,964 - $191,900/year Conditions of Employment
You must be a United States Citizen or National. You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening. You may be required to complete a one-year probationary or two-year trial period. Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file. To qualify for the position of Supervisory Intelligence Research Specialist at (GS-0132-15), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to. If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information). Specialized Experience:
For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as providing background support to operations that target criminal or terrorist organizations and money laundering, with a particular focus on the collection, analysis, and evaluation of criminal intelligence information.
