The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Program Management and Administration, is looking for a Project Portfolio Analyst (Research Analyst 3) to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
Pay is based on the
location
of the selected applicant; salaries will be discussed at the time of the interview. Anchorage:
$2,568.75 biweekly Fairbanks:
$2,646.00 biweekly Juneau: $2,697.00 biweekly What you will be doing: As a Research Analyst 3, you will drive the requirements gathering and analysis process for our organization's IT projects. You'll translate business needs into requirements, create comprehensive documentation, and facilitate communication between stakeholders and IT teams. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying innovative technologies, ensuring IT solutions meet business objectives, and supporting the successful delivery of projects across the organization. Requirements Analysis : Knowledge of the principles and methods to identify, analyze, specify, design, and manage functional and infrastructure requirements; includes translating functional requirements into technical requirements used for logical design or presenting alternative technologies or approaches. Stakeholder Management : Knowledge of the concepts, practices, and techniques used to identify, engage, influence, and monitor relationships with individuals and groups connected to a work effort; including those actively involved, those who exert influence over the process and its results, and those who have a vested interest in the outcome (positive or negative).
