Position Title:

Location:
Office is in Washington DC; however, work will have tele-work options. The client may request the candidate to be on-site once per week due to changing telework policies. Office is adjacent to a metro station.
Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and be required to pass a government Public Trust background investigation
Position Overview:
Marathon TS is seeking a proven Microsoft Power Platform Developer to create custom solutions for our Department of Transportation client. A key function of this role is the ability to create complex flows/triggers in Power Apps, visualize data, support in best practice database design, particularly guiding their transition of a legacy on Premise system to O365 and SharePoint. This developer will provide support in the following areas, but not limited to developing and updating custom Power BI Dashboards, automating business processes, developing and maintaining a user story backlog, create custom SharePoint Pages, extend PowerApps pages functionality with Dataverse integration, data migration, and coordinating and implementing change requests. The ideal candidate will need to have extensive management and consulting experience in these areas.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provide critical thinking, problem solving, design, and most critically, attention to performance, scalability, reliability, availability at the system and component level Build a standalone application using power pages to capture data and saving using Dataverse Create and update legacy system APIs for data connections Manage and perform SharePoint site creation, administration, and site governance while maintaining up to date documentation Develop and update custom Power BI Dashboards Automate business processes Develop and maintain a user story backlog Create custom SharePoint Pages Extend PowerApps pages functionality with Dataverse integration and custom code Data migration Coordinate and implement change requests
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
7+ years of customization experience with Dataverse and Model-driven PowerApps (Plugins, Workflows, Cloud Flows, API integration using SDK) Experience employing agile development best practices Experience developing and deploying custom PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI solutions Experience integrating Power Apps and Power Automate flows with a variety of data sources and leveraging connectors Understanding of the creation and configuration of PowerApps and their limitations Knowledge of user-centered design practices Ability to work with customers to assess needs, triage issues, resolve problems, satisfy expectations; knows products and services Understanding of the principles, methods, and tools of quality assurance and quality control used to ensure a product fulfills functional requirements and standards Familiarity with Word and Excel Templates Nice to have's:
