Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 3 year Traveler Experience: REQUIRED, Unit WILL NOT ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: 1 year Med/Surg Certs: BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ACLS, Telemetry JOB DETAILS: Ratios: 1:6 flex based on needs in organization Shift: 12hr NIGHTS RTO: 7 days MAX Float Requirement: Yes, traveler will work with the CNRO(Centralized Resource Nursing Pool). Staff are notified 2hrs before the start of the shift. Candidates will float all medical/Surgical floors Weekend Requirement: every other weekend Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units. Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID. During times of increased census typical ratios may be higher. Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff. May be preassigned to units as needed. UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
