Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a premier hospitality venue in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-end, high-volume establishments with a focus on operational excellence, exceptional guest service, and business growth. This individual will lead a team, ensure a seamless dining experience, and drive the venue's success while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Oversee hiring, training, and performance management to create a positive, productive work environment.
• Operational Management: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by overseeing all aspects of restaurant management, including inventory control, supplier relations, scheduling, and staff performance.
• Guest Experience Excellence: Maintain the highest standards of service, ensuring an outstanding experience for every guest. Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Financial Oversight: Manage financial performance, including budgeting, P&L management, cost control, and maximizing profitability. Monitor key performance indicators to achieve business objectives.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment for both staff and guests.
• Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies, events, and campaigns to increase traffic, enhance brand visibility, and engage guests.
• Event Coordination: Oversee private events, group bookings, and special programs, ensuring seamless execution and a memorable experience for all guests.
• Menu and Product Quality: Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation, aligning with the venue's standards and guest expectations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including financial management, inventory control, and staff training.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume, upscale venue.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
