LHH partnered with a local company to recruit for an HR Generalist in Fremont, CA.

HR Generalist
Pay Range: $40-45/hour
Contract Length: 6 months (no conversion)
Location: Fremont, CA (On-site, M-F, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the EDD Workshare Program, collaborating weekly with Shop & Field teams.

  • Process all EDD claims and manage verification of employment (VOEs).

  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, including anniversaries, milestones, and years of service awards.

  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes for shop and field employees.

  • Assist with the Vehicle Program, including bill classification and payments.

  • Conduct annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks for drivers.

  • Maintain and update employee maps and related data.

  • Prepare Concur HR expense reports for VP approval and submission.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to employees by addressing requests, questions, and support needs.

  • Collaborate with HR team members on special projects to enhance departmental operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role to ensure clear communication with Spanish-speaking clients/customers/employees.

  • Proven experience in HR Generalist roles with 4+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or field-based environment.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for calendaring.

  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with exceptional follow-through.

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for providing excellent customer service.



Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
