Must Have:

Minimum

5 years’ experience

as a

BD Manager

or

Capture Manager

for a Federal/DoD contractor.

Bachelor’s Degree

in a relevant area.

Must be able to

commute to Frederick, MD, or San Antonio, TX

(hybrid).

Strong experience in:

Developing and owning pipelines.

Federal opportunity sourcing tools

(e.g., SAM.Gov, FedConnect, Deltek GovWinIQ).

Developing and executing pursuit/bid strategies.

Teaming arrangements and strategic collaborations.

Shipley process/methods experience.

Nice to Have:

Experience with

8(a) Federal contracting methods.

Shipley training.

Knowledge or experience in one or more service areas: Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Systems/Analytics/Modernization.

Professional Services (e.g., SETA), Instructional Design, Training Development/Delivery, Logistics.

Job Description: Raizan Solutions LLC is seeking a

Business Development Manager

to join their client’s corporate team. The role involves driving growth by identifying, developing, and closing Federal business opportunities within a defined portfolio, with a focus on achieving strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Build market position by identifying, developing, and closing Federal business opportunities. Develop and execute a

growth strategy

for the assigned domain to achieve sales and revenue goals. Maintain and manage an

active pipeline

of opportunities while identifying new ones. Qualify opportunities using resources to support the

bid/no-bid process. Foster strategic relationships with new and existing

customers and partners. Qualify and select teaming partners; support

data calls

related to capabilities, past performance, technical inputs, etc. Lead

Bid & Proposal efforts

for the assigned domain, collaborating with the proposal team to develop solutions, win themes, and response strategies. Collaborate with the Operations team to cultivate new opportunities with existing customers. Respond to Federal/DoD

market research, sources sought, and RFIs. Attend

Industry Days and Pre-Proposal Conferences

to network, gather intel, and identify Government needs/trends. Travel 25–35%. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements: Required Skills and Experience: Proven business development experience

in Federal/DoD contracting. Experience developing and supporting

service-based proposals

for Federal/DoD customers. Proficiency in

Microsoft Office Suite

(Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, SharePoint. Strong

multitasking, strategic analysis, and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal communication. Self-motivated, collaborative, and team-oriented.

Desired Skills and Experience: Knowledge of

8(a) Federal contracting methods. Experience or training in

Shipley processes. Experience in service areas such as: Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Professional Services, Training Development, Logistics.
