This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions. You will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, performing legal research, and assisting with closings. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Prepare and review various legal documents such as leases, contracts, and purchase agreements. Perform legal research and due diligence to support transactions. Assist with the closing process, including preparing closing documents and coordinating with all parties involved. Utilize deed plotter software to prepare and review legal descriptions of properties. Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties to gather information and resolve issues. Maintain organized files and records of all transactions and legal documents. Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to commercial real estate.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in the commercial real estate sector. Proficiency in deed plotter software or equivalent. Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law and legal terminology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Paralegal certification or equivalent education preferred.
