We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Project Engineer to join our vibrant team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of innovative projects, from residential buildings to commercial properties and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned engineering projects. 2. Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field. 3. Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. 4. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support. 5. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions. 6. Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications. 7. Use software for design and management, such as AutoCAD. 8. Conduct cost analysis, prepare quotations, and bids on materials. 9. Manage project risks, including mitigation plans and strategies. 10. Ensure projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. 2. Proven working experience of 2+ years as a project engineer in the Construction industry. 3. Advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards. 4. Ability to work with multiple discipline projects and proven working experience in project management. 5. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD. 6. Competency in conducting cost analysis, preparing quotations, and bidding on materials. 7. Project management and supervision skills with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present reports in a concise and clear manner. 9. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
