Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Financial Representative to join our team. In this role, you will assist with billing inquiries, manage payment processes, and help ensure financial clarity and accuracy. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining positive patient relationships by resolving billing issues and guiding patients through payment options.
This fully remote position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, accountability, self motivation and a background in healthcare billing, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities:
Handle billing inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and empathy.
Review accounts to ensure accurate billing and resolve discrepancies.
Explain financial policies, payment plans, and insurance coverage to patients.
Process payments, issue refunds, and manage payment plan arrangements.
Communicate effectively with internal teams (billing, insurance, and clinical departments) to resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and financial transactions.
Identify and recommend improvements to billing processes and patient communication.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in healthcare billing, patient services, or a related field.
Strong understanding of billing processes and insurance claims.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with billing software.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
