What you'll do:
We're looking for a Senior Copywriter based in New York City to join our Creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting persuasive and effective copy that engages our audience throughout the customer journey. Our ideal candidate is conceptual, collaborative, and most of all curious, with experience working across a diverse range of global marketing/creative initiatives.
Copywriting: Bring creative thinking and copywriting to the full cycle of our brand experience, from concept to delivery, across campaigns and product launches, to social media, web, video, events, and more. You'll write impactful headlines that are concise, with well-structured body copy. And you have equal comfort with long and short form copywriting that embraces the intersection where technology meets humanity. Brand and creative strategy: Participate in brand development and creative strategy meetings that align with our objectives and goals. Present to senior leadership, providing rationale for your copy, concepts, and approach. SEO, analytics, and research best practices: Incorporate SEO best practices into your writing to improve search rankings and organic traffic. Monitor creative work using analytics tools and adjust strategies with research and data as needed to optimize marketing performance. Team collaboration: Work closely with teams across Creative, Global Marketing, Product Marketing, Digital, Editorial, Research, Events, and Employee Experiences to ensure cohesive messaging across all content. Who you are:
10+ years of experience writing copy for agencies, brands, or in-house marketing teams at an established global B2B, B2C company, or equivalent freelance experience. With at least 4 of those years leading/concepting projects and working with senior leadership. Bachelor's degree in English, advertising, journalism, communications, creative writing or a related field. You're a big thinker, but able to take an idea and extend it across a variety of media at all touchpoints along the marketing funnel. Ability to make complex concepts relatable and easily understandable for any audience, from our upstream to "hands-on keyboard" technical groups. Translating our offering into human terms is a big part of the job, and your ability to do that will be paramount to your success in this role. Proven track record to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A self-starter that's extremely well-organized, with excellent time management skills - able to work under tight deadlines when needed. A natural curiosity to learn about and understand new technologies and concepts. You enjoy keeping up with current trends and industry insights. Nice to have:
Experience working in the advertising/technology space. On set copy direction experience for audio/video shoots. You embrace technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) in your creative storytelling, and tools like Asana and Figma in your processes.
Please provide a portfolio of relevant work demonstrating the ability to think conceptually and bring ideas to life in creative, inventive ways. You will not be considered without a portfolio website.
