Role Description:
The Senior Copywriter plays an instrumental role within the Creative Department at TJP and works closely with other senior team members to write persuasive and engaging copy that effectively conveys key messages and promotes brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversions. The Senior Copywriter is also responsible for reviewing and refining copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and guidelines. While meeting business objectives is a key part of this role, being a strategic thinker, a master storyteller, and possessing exceptional writing and editing skills is also critical.
Responsibilities:
Ensures high-quality, consistently superior creative and groundbreaking thinking Encourages and fosters the development of breakthrough creative and state-of-the-art concepts and initiatives Ensures creative approaches are developed to support the brand positioning Thoroughly understand market trends, the needs of each target audience, relevant disease state guidelines, and emerging new diagnostic and therapeutic product opportunities in the category Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax Proven experience in creating compelling copy for various marketing channels and formats Exceptional storytelling abilities with a keen understanding of how to engage and captivate an audience through words Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from diverse sources Proficiency in understanding and adhering to brand voice and guidelines. Sound knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to incorporate keywords strategically into copy Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in using content management systems and other relevant software tools. Stays up-to-date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising and be inspired by our industry contemporaries and creative leaders in our space Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field Minimum of 5 years' experience (Copy) within the pharmaceutical, healthcare marketing or consumer/promotional industries Proven portfolio of successful copywriting campaigns and projects across various industries Familiarity with industry-specific style guides and best practices Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and trends Experience with social media platforms, SEO, and content management systems Strong understanding of consumer/HCP behavior and market trends Possesses a complete understanding and application of commonly used industry guidelines, rules, and regulations Ability to gather, share, and apply learnings about current issues and trends related to client, and consumer/health care spaces Excellent understanding of client data and strategy Excellent communication skills Proven ability to multitask, handle stressful situations, and deadline pressures Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Work beyond what is described in job description as needed; willing to be flexible for the team, and ultimately the work, and demonstrate a willingness to work across teams as needed Physical Requirements:
