General Contractor, based in Cranston RI, is looking for a Superintendent to join their growing team! Specializing in Public, Institutional/Higher Ed, Lab/Lifescience, & Commercial Projects up to $50M in value Projects in RI, MA and CT Client Details General Contractor, based in Cranston RI, is looking for a Superintendent to join their growing team! Offering services in: Preconstruction, General Contracting, Design/Build, & Construction Management. Specializing in Public, Institutional/Higher Ed, Lab/Lifescience, & Commercial Projects up to $50M in value Projects in RI, MA and CT Description The Superintendent is responsible for: Leading ground-up & renovation (commercial, academic, lifescience, public, etc.) projects up to $50M Making educated decisions related to the performance of all work-related activities Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all individuals involved in the project Understanding construction layout, methods of sequence, and how to read plans and specifications Maintaining strict build-out schedule and making course corrections as needed to ensure deadlines are met Managing subcontractors, field team, project schedule, etc. Ensuring work site safety compliance Accurately processing paper work Identifying and resolving local problems on site Performing job specific tasks, as necessary, on projects Profile The right Superintendent has the following qualifications: Commercial, Lifescience, or Academic project experience (required) 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor (required) OSHA 30 Construction-related degree (highly preferred) Computer skill & familiarity with construction softwares (Newforma, Microsoft, etc.) Job Offer The Superintendent will receive: Salary up to $140k Mileage reimbursement Company phone & laptop Company truck & more!
