Overview:

**Per Diem Opportunity*** in Idaho for a Pediatric Hospitalist - Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center

Responsibilities:

  • 318-bed hospital
  • 24 Hour Shift- Rounding then OnCall
  • Level II Trauma center
  • Regional Burn Center
  • 6-Bed Pediatric ICU
  • 10-bed Pediatric unit
  • 26-bed Level III Neonatal ICU
  • 1200 deliveries per year
  • The role of a pediatric hospitatlist at EIRMC includes caring for medical patients on the Pediatric Unit, consulting on pediatric patients in the emergency department, consulting on surgical patients, and caring for newborn infants who do not require NICU-level care. Pediatric physician staff include both pediatric intensivists and neonatologists as part of the Pediatrix team. At EIRMC there are additional pediatric sub-specialists representing pediatric neurology, endocrinology, cardiology, surgery, and anesthesia. The hospital staff includes a child life specialist, pediatric nutritionists, and physical therapists. The staff are very in-tuned with delivering care within a family-center environment.

Qualifications:
  • Must be Board Certified
  • Must have a min of 1 years experience
  • Has ID active license or is IMLC compact eligible.
  • Seeking candidates comfortable with sedation and non-invasive ventilation.
Benefits and Compensation:

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
