The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations. This includes ensuring that all plant equipment, machinery, and facilities are operating efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies that support the company's goals.

Description

  • Leadership & Supervision:

    • Lead, train, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
    • Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
  • Maintenance Operations:

    • Ensure all equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
    • Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the plant.
    • Coordinate with production and quality departments to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
  • Budgeting & Planning:

    • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
    • Plan and oversee capital improvement projects, including the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
    • Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, including negotiation of service agreements and procurement of parts and materials.
  • Compliance & Safety:

    • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and safety documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
    • Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in maintenance management, integrating them into the company's operations where applicable.

Profile





  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food or beverage industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications:
    • Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or similar certification is preferred.
    • OSHA certification or extensive knowledge of safety regulations is highly desirable.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed to support plant operations.
