The role available with my client is a Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager. They are looking for a candidate who will successfully supervise the QC and QA employees and ensure that all safety requirements relating to food are met.

Description
- Oversee and manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Supervise the installation, repair, and upkeep of production machinery, utilities, and building systems.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills.
- Promote safe working practices and enforce safety policies across the maintenance team.
- Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze maintenance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Recommend capital improvements and assist in the planning of equipment upgrades or replacements.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to optimize processes.
- Identify and implement new technologies or methodologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Act as a liaison with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a beverage or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Familiarity with beverage production equipment such as filling lines, pasteurizers, and conveyors.
- Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- OSHA Safety Certification
- HVAC or Electrical Licensing
