Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all maintenance operations at a dynamic food and beverage production facility. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of production lines, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to preventative maintenance schedules.

Description
Maintenance Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate repair work on machinery, refrigeration, utilities, and other systems.
- Monitor and manage all preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of skilled maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
Operational Efficiency
- Ensure all equipment and facilities operate at optimal efficiency to meet production targets.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-effective solutions.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the maintenance team.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, including labor, parts, and external services.
- Monitor spending and identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and inventory.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on equipment performance, downtime, and project progress.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or beverage production.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance scheduling tools.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
