Our client is looking to add a Human Resources Manager to their team. The HR Manager is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. The duties will involve managing activities such as job design, employee relations, performance management, training & development, HR systems, compliance, and talent management.
The job of the HR Manager is important to business success. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of the HR Manager role.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Analyze metrics to identify trends and propose solutions to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and offboarding.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, delivering timely and effective solutions.
- Negotiate renewals and contracts with HR-related vendors and brokers.
- Work with the payroll processing team to ensure accuracy and compliance, as needed.
- Plan, oversee, and execute employee benefits and compensation programs.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; update handbooks and communicate policies accordingly.
- Support regulatory compliance filings or audits as needed: Multiple Worksite Reporting, EEO-1, Pay Data, SOC II, and HR/Payroll audits.
- Stays up to date with trends and new technologies in human resources and talent management.
- Champion organizational training and development programs.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven working experience as HR Manager
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
