Part-Time Temporary Help Desk Technician

Assist with information systems needs as directed on campus and off campus sites. Assist students, faculty and staff with software, hardware, network connection and Internet issues. This assistance will be provided via phone, e-mail, in-person, remotely, and driving to locations. Utilize ServiceNow an incident tracking system to record work requested and work being done. Working Hours: Up to twenty-five (25) hours per week, variable between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Salary: $15.00 per hour. Closing date: January 5, 2025, or open until filled. Starting date: February 3, 2025. Successful completion of CIS 110, CIS 115, or equivalent. Requires ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Ability to with or without accommodations crawl under desks, secure cabling, climb ladders, and push/pull utility carts. Preferred A certification, or an IT degree. The ability to navigate the College website, MS Office, ServiceNow, preferred. Must have a valid drivers license and able to pass background check to obtain access and driving privileges for sites on Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River.Official transcripts, including other documentation verifying all reported educational qualifications, are required.
