Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or Engineering
Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an Engineering Industry environment
Certifications:
• Certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 auditing is highly desirable
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and IMS software
The IMS Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the organization's Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management). The role involves continuous improvement of processes, conducting internal audits, and ensuring that the organization meets its regulatory and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
IMS Development and Maintenance:
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Integrated Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Ensure that the IMS documentation is up-to-date and accessible to all relevant personnel
• Coordinate with various departments to integrate their processes into the IMS
Compliance and Certification:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and customer and ISO requirements
• Prepare for and coordinate external/Internal audits and certification processes
• Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions
Internal Audits:
• Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the IMS
• Report audit findings and follow up on corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement
Training and Awareness:
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees are aware of and understand the IMS requirements
• Promote a culture of quality, environmental responsibility, and health and safety within the organization
Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for improvement within the IMS and work with relevant departments to implement changes
• Monitor and analyze IMS performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Reporting:
• Prepare and present regular reports on IMS performance to senior management
• Maintain records of IMS activities, including audits, training, and corrective actions
