a Network Engineer III
to join an established Electronics Manufacturing company. This is a
hybrid
position and would require you to be
onsite 3 days
a week in
Atlanta, GA
. The
Network Engineer III
will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance network solutions that align with business needs while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Requirements of the Network Engineer III:
Design and implement high-performance, secure, and scalable network solutions to meet business objectives. Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and optimizations to support growth and technological advancements. Monitor, manage, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Implement and maintain robust network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy solutions supporting new applications and technologies. Qualifications for the Network Engineer III:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly desirable. 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on complex enterprise environments. Expertise in networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware from vendors like Cisco and Juniper. Strong understanding of network security principles and tools (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios) and cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure). Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred. Compensation for the Network Engineer III:
Salary:
$120,000-$150,000 depending on experience Benefits:
