Our client in the Stockton area is a fast-growing company seeking a highly organized and friendly individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. As the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and employees, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer and transfer calls to the correct department, screen calls, and take messages as needed.
- Greet, welcome, and direct visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Notify relevant employees upon visitor arrival and manage guest expectations.
- Monitor the front door to ensure security and maintain a safe office environment.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate and timely information.
- Maintain visitor, employee, and department directories and logs.
- Adhere to office security procedures, including maintaining logbooks and issuing visitor PPE.
- Organize and maintain the reception area, ensuring it complies with office procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, travel accommodations, and appointments as instructed by the Office Manager.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and notify the Office Manager of any needs.
- Distribute paper products and water to staff, ensuring workplace comfort.
- Sign for deliveries and manage the distribution of all mail and packages.
- Create sales quotes for the sales team as required.
- Perform any additional tasks and duties assigned by the Office Manager.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in another customer service-related role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
