Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

About the Company

LHH is working with our client growing organization seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to contribute to a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Overview

The HR Generalist will play a key role in managing day-to-day human resources operations, supporting employees, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This is an onsite position with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and troubleshooting.

  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Conduct employee relations activities, including addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to ensure compliance with labor laws.

  • Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.

  • Track and report on HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.

  • Conduct audits of employee files, I-9 compliance, and other HR documentation.

  • Collaborate with management to implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of HR experience in a generalist role.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (California-specific knowledge is a plus).

  • Experience with payroll processing and HRIS systems.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
