This Medical Assistant role plays a crucial part in the daily operations of our clinic, offering a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with weekends off. Working closely with highly-rated healthcare professionals, administrative duties include scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records, while clinical duties involve taking vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood under the direction of clinic providers. Requirements

Education:

Graduation from a formal MA training program or an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma.

Experience:

No prior experience required, but previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Proficient computer skills.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Certification from a recognized program such as CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), CCMA (NHA), NRCMA (NAHP) or LPN. American Heart Association BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
