We are seeking a visionary, forward-thinking, and transformative Vice President of Product Marketing to join our Digital leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer. Key Responsibilities: Champion a product-led growth approach to product marketing, ensuring alignment with the principles of customer centricity, continuous innovation, and data-driven decision making. Develop and implement innovative, data-driven strategies that optimize product placement, adoption, and overall market penetration. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of product marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence. Act as a strategic change agent, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance our product marketing approach and drive continuous improvement. Craft and execute bold yet pragmatic marketing plans that deliver tangible revenue results while supporting our long-term growth trajectory, with quantified outcomes to drive decisions. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support, to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing market success. Elevate the product marketing conversation, both internally and externally, inspiring colleagues and stakeholders to embrace a modern, data-driven, and customer-obsessed perspective. Leverage data-driven insights to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, actively contributing to the creation and analysis of relevant data. Partner closely with Marketing and Communications to proactively develop compelling narratives that showcase our products' value proposition and inspire customers to choose us. Keep the organization up-to-date with latest market trends and competitive intelligence, leading to proactive strategies to reinforce our benefits and differentiate ourselves from competitors. Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports. Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels. Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies. Qualifications: Extensive experience in Product Marketing, with a proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving core business growth, with clear impact on revenue and/or growth. Expertise in payments, fintech, B2B SaaS and/or small business preferred, including in-depth understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive landscapes within our industry. Experience working in product-led growth environments, with an emphasis on using data and insights to drive key decisions. Deep understanding of modern product marketing principles, including product-led growth, customer journey mapping, and data-driven storytelling. Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights into compelling product positioning and messaging. Strong proficiency in analyzing market and product performance data to derive insights that inform product messaging, pricing, and positioning strategies. Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and product value through compelling narratives, using both quantitative and qualitative data. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a data-driven decision-making approach. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse stakeholders to ensure engagement and optimal adoption. Ability to foster a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and innovation. Comfortable with ambiguous, changing situations, and decision making. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
