Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Laborer with hand tool experience to help disassemble a conveyor belt system. Responsibilities include equipment dismantling, organizing, inventory management, and general warehouse duties. Hand tool experience and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble conveyor belt systems, including motors, rollers, belts, and structural components, using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and hammers.
• Safely and efficiently break down conveyor parts for storage, transport, or disposal, following all safety procedures.
• Maintain an organized work area and properly label and store disassembled parts.
• Assist with other warehouse duties, including loading/unloading trucks, managing inventory, and packaging shipments.
• Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) to transport parts and materials within the warehouse.
• Report any issues or malfunctions with equipment to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment while performing tasks.
• Provide support to other team members as needed for various warehouse functions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial setting, particularly with disassembly of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and other tools for mechanical disassembly.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with an understanding of conveyor systems (preferred but not required).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
