HVAC Fleet/Warehouse Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

As the Warehouse/Fleet Manager at Comfort Systems of Montana, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including overseeing and managing all warehouse and fleet operations. This includes inventory management, logistics, vehicle maintenance & record keeping, driver safety, safe and efficient operation of all warehouse and transportation activities and compliance with federal & state regulations, order & receive inventory, organize and stage equipment & materials. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ongoing training and professional development. WAREHOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage & oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, order fulfillment, & logistics.
  • Develop & implement warehouse policies to maximize efficiency & safety.
  • Manage budgets & forecast warehouse expenses.
  • Maintain adequate stock in the warehouse for personnel and trucks.
  • Coordinate with project managers and field personnel to prepare for jobs.
  • Manage and recycle CFC or HCFC refrigerants.
  • Monthly physical tool, material and equipment inventory.
  • Assist field crews with locating and loading correct materials.
  • Receive, record & label shipments.
  • Track parts & supplies, notify direct supervisor of equipment & materials when received.
  • Document and manage return orders to suppliers.
  • Organize & clean warehouse and exterior of building daily, keep presentable for employees and customers.

FLEET RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop & implement fleet policies to maximize efficiency & safety.
  • Develop & maintain vehicle (trailers, scissor lift, etc) log to include all important information about the equipment for service, maintenance & budgeting.
  • Manage budgets & forecast fleet expenses.
  • Supervise fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, compliance with regulations, and scheduling.
  • Negotiate contracts & service agreements to insure cost effective & reliable services.
  • Schedule & coordinate service & repairs for fleet.
  • Schedule & coordinate vehicle maintenance & inspections (weekly).
  • Schedule & coordinate tire rotations and change outs.
  • Ensure fleet is being maintained by drivers.
  • Ensure fleet meets all federal & state regulations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to personal tools are essential.

  • Candidates should have a strong work ethic, outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and be able to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • A professional appearance, and exemplary customer service skills are mandatory.
  • Must be a proactive self-starter capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Candidates must have, or be willing to obtain, EPA Certification (Universal) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 608 certification exam/cert.

PAY & BENEFITS:

  • $27.00-$35.00 per hour DOE plus bonuses and incentive pay
