Job Overview

Long’s Humans Resource Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Staffing Recruiter to join our team! In this role, you’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from building client relationships and sourcing candidates to onboarding and placement. This is an ideal position for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with clients and candidates to provide high-quality temporary staffing solutions.

Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted industries.
  • Build relationships with potential clients and establish a pipeline of new business.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on staffing trends and opportunities.

Client Management:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand staffing needs and provide suitable candidates quickly.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction and service quality.
  • Advise clients on labor market conditions and competitive compensation.

Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment:

  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Conduct screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
  • Maintain a candidate database to ensure future availability for open roles.

Onboarding:

  • Coordinate and manage onboarding processes, including background checks and drug screenings.
  • Ensure onboarding documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, assisting with onboarding questions to ensure a smooth start.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years in staffing or recruitment, ideally with temporary staffing experience.
  • Skills:
    • Familiarity with background check and drug screen processes.
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM software, and recruiting tools.
