Jamaica Hospital Medical Center a member of the Medisys Health Network is an accredited Community Based teaching hospital and Level I Trauma and Stroke Center. Regarded as a leading hospital in Queens, New York, we offer a wide variety of patient-centered, expert care to a large and diverse community. We are currently seeking a F/T Onsite Healthcare Recruiter for our Talent Acquisition Department.

Our ideal candidate will have strong sourcing ability and be a creative, sales savvy, team-oriented Recruiter with current /recent recruiting experience in a medium to large hospital or other unionized healthcare environment. A combination of BOTH agency AND corporate recruiting experience preferred.

. SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • Managing full cycle recruiting for multiple, complex searches.
  • Creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to each role.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive sourcing plans, analyzing requirements to create profiles, and leveraging multiple tactics to build a talented, diverse pool.
  • Collaborating closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process to ensure hiring needs and goals are met.
  • Managing pipeline activity and maintaining data integrity, and proactively sharing data-centric updates with internal stakeholders.
  • Driving offer process - including extending offers, negotiations, and closing candidates.
  • Building strong, relationships with senior leaders and critical stakeholders, operating as a trusted advisor and business partner.
  • Leading and assisting with Talent Acquisition-related special projects
Requirements
  • MUST Have minimum 3 years HR sourcing and recruiting experience in a hospital or related health care environment.
  • MUST HAVE demonstrated ability to prepare and write effecitve job descriptions and compelling recruitment advertisements.
  • Experience using various recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed.
  • Experience sourcing, engaging, and activating passive candidates.
