Job Description
Nick Corieri with Robert Half has a rewarding opportunity for a HR Generalist to join a great non-profit organization located in Syracuse, New York. In this role, you will be involved in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. This role is particularly suited to those who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of HR processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete recruitment cycle from posting job vacancies, screening resumes, to conducting interviews and finalizing recruitment procedures.
• Conduct orientation sessions and process paperwork for new hires to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Act as a primary point of contact for all employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations when necessary.
• Ensure all HR practices and processes comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
• Assist with the administration of benefit enrollments, employee leave requests, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and disability.
• Provide regular performance feedback and conduct evaluations to aid in employee and managerial development.
• Lead and manage HR-related projects and initiatives as required.
